I’ve decided to do a month long sale at both stores to “celebrate” the closing of OAKS. As hard of a decision it was, I feel it is for the best. I’m taking a small break from designing but I plan on getting back into action soon and hopefully with my own store. So, in the meantime, you can get my products at 40% off!

I have decided that the time has come to close OAKS. This was a very tough decision as this site has been my baby for the past two years. I just don’t have the time to give the site the attention it needs. I need to simplify things in my life right now and I have some personal issues to work through. The store will be open for purchase through Jan 31st, 2008. The files will remain on the server until Feb 15th for downloads. After that, nothing from the site will be available. If you have any coupons or gift certificates, please use them now. Nothing will be available after Feb 15th for download and nothing after Jan 31st for purchase. if you have any questions feel free to email me. I will still be designing and selling at SBB and I plan to open up my own personal shop. I just won’t make it such a priority anymore.

So we had some snow overnight. I was suppose to go to work but the end of my street was closed and the police were making people turn around so home I went! You didn’t hear me complaining. I was TERRIFIED! I am sooo not ready for SNOW! I’m use to Southern California. We NEVER had snow!

So I have the joy of being a guest on Bren Boone’s CT this month! I’m loving every minute. I’ve done FOUR layouts so far for her plus I did a wedding layout. I haven’t scrapped in so long and it feels good to do so. I really need to be designing and doing some other stuff but all I want to do is scrap right now. Guess I just need a slight design break. So here they are:

LOL I’ve been bad about blogging. I’ve had lots going on just no time to sit here and get it all out! Let’s see…Halloween. I guess that is as good of place to start as any. Sarah was a princess and Jake was a monkey. It was COLD that night. My camera is downstairs with the pics STILL on the camera card LOL or else I’d show pics. Also, I started back to work on Halloween. Oh the joys of working at a portrait studio during the holiday season! Work is ok. I mean I’d rather be home with my kids of course, but hey we need the money!
Let’s see what else? Oh this past week has been HELL! Jake has ANOTHER ear infection. 4th one since August. Shortly after his ear started bothering him, he started screaming like a banshee. I noticed through one of his many throwing himself back, mouth wide open piercing screams that we have a top tooth cutting through! Well no wonder he was sooo darn miserable! So after many hours of screaming, little sleep, he then developed a slight fever. This went on for a few days. The pain seems to have eased but now….now he has a rash! UGH! Poor kid…does it eve end?
